Ki-ippon Kuromame Soy Sauce is a thick soy sauce and has very rich flavor and good aroma.  Making of Yuasa Shoyu's manufacturing method inspired by the world's oldest cookbook; from 1,500 years ago, matured for over 700 days using Tanba black soybeans.
Sommelier's Evaluation : Aroma of dark chocolate and molasses. Flavor profile includes "tamari" with a gentle saltiness derived from sweetness and umami. Ideal pairing with red wine. A mellow and flavorful soy sauce that brings out the goodness of the ingredients.

It is highly evaluated by many chefs in the world and has been winning Grand Gold Medal every year since 1996 by Monde Selection.

I ordered this soy sauce shortly before Christmas and it arrived in time in Germany—much faster than I expected for an international delivery. I first discovered this soy sauce during my trip through Japan and absolutely loved it, but I hadn’t had it for quite a while. Tasting it again genuinely surprised me: it’s the best soy sauce I’ve ever had. From a German perspective, it’s simply not comparable to what you typically find in stores here—richer, more balanced, and far more authentic. Highly recommended.
